Over 70 8 to 10 year old pupils form the Alexandre Galí School of Barcelona (a high complexity public school located in the same neighbourhood than the ICM) came to the ICM to participate in two workshops:
- Learning about plankton through art (dialogue in front of the 60 m mural Ancestral Forest )
- Ocean exploration. Diving in a submarine: In the dark there is also life
Encourage the observation capacity of children and young people. The activities during a dive require a high level of attention since many of the observations that are made happen unexpectedly and their identification is of vital importance to program the rest of the dive. In addition, many times the most unique event or fact can happen at the most unforeseen moment. Basically, it is a question of teaching by playing the value of the capacity for observation in generations that are increasingly distracted by the excess of superfluous information to which they are subjected every day.
