Over 19, 11 years old pupils form the Anglesola School of Barcelona (a high complexity public school located in les Corts neighbourhood) came to the ICM to participate in two workshops:
- Observation of planktonic microorganisms (from nanometers as viruses to mm as zooplankton) through microscopes. Explanations about the existence of a tight invisible microbial food web which is important for the life of the Planet. As in the little prince is important to understand that "The essential is invisible to the eyes"
- Ocean exploration. Diving in a submarine: In the dark there is also life
Encourage the observation capacity of children and young people. The activities during a dive require a high level of attention since many of the observations that are made happen unexpectedly and their identification is of vital importance to program the rest of the dive. In addition, many times the most unique event or fact can happen at the most unforeseen moment. Basically, it is a question of teaching by playing the value of the capacity for observation in generations that are increasingly distracted by the excess of superfluous information to which they are subjected every day.
